Probate & Estates
The estate planning process can seem like a daunting task that many of us put off for another day. There are some essential documents that are involved in the estate planning process including a Will, Durable Power of Attorney, and Living Will. These documents allow you to set forth your intentions as to what medical treatment you do or do not want if you are incapacitated and also appoint someone you trust to handle your finances if the need arises. Finally, you will control who receives your assets at the time of your death through your Will or other instrument which will prevent state law from making that decision for you.
